Considered as the National Drink to the Cuban community.
It started off when Coke could not be sold due to the US trade embargoes.
The traditional rum used was Bacardi. An easy Rum and Coke and in many recipes, lime juice was added on ice for that tinge of zesty flavor at the end.
Recipe Instructions :
1. Fill highball glass with ice
2. Squeeze and drop 2 like wedges into glass, coating the ice well with juices
3. Pour in Bacardi or any light rum, topped up with chilled cola and stir gently
